Christmas Eve

The kiddies had a very special Christmas Eve! We really took time to enjoy some preparations that morning, and relaxing as a family. Then we ventured to Longwood Gardens-- our Christmas Eve tradition, followed by setting up cookies and milk and carrots for Santa and the reindeer, writing a quick note, and off to bed!

This photo totally displays the kiddies' excitement and anticipation of our Christmas Eve activities..not to mention Christmas! They were so filled with Christmas spirit!
(And thanks to Aunt Meg for the Christmas jammies, as usual!)

Our annual Pre-Longwood Gardens family photo.

The kiddies were allowed to exchange their Christmas gifts they selected for each other. It was such a beautiful moment- they were just as joyous about giving the gift as they were about getting it. They displayed such genuine gratitude, too.

At Longwood and on our way to the Conservatory

The kiddies spent a lot of time playing in the Children's Garden.

Charlotte really loved playing in the water fountains... this picture shows her sneaking some water onto her skin.

This looks like a snuggly moment, eh? It actually was conflict management. :-)

We saw a beautiful sunset... we love how Charlotte looks like she's flying in this photo!

We finished our visit looking at their expanded outdoor train display and the beautiful lights!
