Trip to the Aquarium

Our crew ventured out to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ for the first time. It was awesome! We had a great time inside the aquarium and out!

When we walked into the Aquarium a moment before it officially opened, a woman walked up to Owen and asked him if he wanted to "open the aquarium." He said yes, so the woman handed him her walkie talkie and he got to say, "Hello Adventure Aquarium. The time is 10:00 and the first guests are here. Have a great day." It was so special!

Mama got to enjoy a lot of snuggles from Eliza.. she was in an extra snuggly mood!

The Aquarium just opened a new Kids' Zone...
Owen and Charlotte had fun touching some fish, sea stars, and star fish!

We got to swim with the fishies!

This was one of Mama's favorite spots in the whole aquarium. Not only a private room, but a comfy chair and a pillow... a pillow! So wonderful!

Daddy was the only one interested in petting a shark...

The Shark Tunnel was amazing!!

We decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and had lunch by the river. With a beautiful view of Philadelphia!

Owen captured a smile by Eliza...difficult to do on camera!

Another beautiful smile captured by photographer Owen!

We walked down the riverside for a closer look at the Battleship New Jersey.

Tired after our long adventure...

Such an amazing adventure for all the family .... your Great Great Uncle Walter served on the Battleship USS New Jersey during the Korean War.

That aquarium looks awesome! The Baltimore Aquarium had a room that you could nurse in too (though it wasn't called a "nursing" room, just a family room) complete with microwave, table for older kids to color on, and a TV!!
