Philadelphia

It had been way too long since the kiddies took the train into Philadelphia. Typically our family likes the quiet city in the Winter, when there aren't many people milling around. But we had house projects occupy our weekends over the Winter... so this trip was LONG overdue.

We decided to do a little of everything...

The kiddies were VERY excited to hop onto one of the newer SEPTA trains!

We first headed to Old City to walk around a bit.

Oh Charlotte loves her horses...wherever she finds them!

Then we headed to Washington Square Park...

Here is a photo we took when Charlotte was 2 and Owen was almost 5... times have changed!

We then made our way toward Center City...

One of the most beautiful streets in Philly for sure!

We stopped by Capogiro for some of the best gelato in the city...

We then made our way to our final destination....the museum district and the Franklin Institute!

We spent the majority of our time in Newton's Loft... the kiddies were really mesmerized by the kinetic sculpture "Newton's Dream"

Jackson wears the shirt and pants that Owen has on in those pics right now! Where has the time gone? Charlotte looks the same size as when she was 2!
