Washington DC

The kiddies enjoyed a trip to Washington DC over Spring Break.  We visited with dear friends, visited two museums, and toured some very inspiring monuments and memorials.


The kiddies visited the Natural History Museum and the Air and Space Museum. There was too much to look at to take a lot of photos...

The next day, before leaving, the kiddies walked through the amazing memorials! We really enjoyed the history and meaning behind them- so inspiring!

The kiddies watched the airplanes arriving at the airport for a while before we began walking.

First stop was the FDR Memorial:

We walked through the Vietnam Memorial:

And Owen REALLY wanted to see the White House so we walked to where we could see it:
