Appalachian Trail- Lehigh Gap West

The kiddies enjoyed hiking another Appalachian Trail loop... this one along the ridge that runs atop the PA Turnpike (NE Extension) tunnel!  We got some really neat views of (past and present) mining towns in that area from above as well...

We walked across the Lehigh River to continue on the AT once we arrived back at parking...

We explored the Lehigh Gap Nature Center and went geocaching in the area...
