A morning in Philly

Since Owen's basketball season ended a little early, we took a free Saturday morning and headed into Philly.  And as luck would have it it was a very warm Winter morning!

We walked to Washington Square...

Around Independence Hall...

And down to the Waterfront.

We then walked to Welcome Park- our first new stop of the morning. William Penn's home stood here.

And then another new stop...the grounds where Ben Franklin's house stood.

We made it back to the Visitor's Center and climbed to the balcony that overlooks Independence Mall.

Our final new stop of the morning was a walk to Franklin Square...which just happened to have a very fun playground for the kiddies to explore! A great way to end our trip!
