Maine Day 2

Our second full day started out misty and progressed to full-out rainy the rest of the day, but we didn't let that stop us from taking the long hike up Champlain Mountain! Despite the conditions not being ideal, we enjoyed being outside and persevered until we reached the summit! The kiddies changed positions between kid-carriers and hiked certain stretches on their own, and really didn't seem to mind the weather.

Yes, there were a few other hikers along the way, and one kindly offered to take our picture at the summit. He seemed pretty impressed the kiddies made it all the way up in the elements.

What else do you do on a rainy day? Snuggle, read lots of books, make some homemade lasagna... Oh and watch your 5-year old put together two-thirds of a 400+ piece Lego creation, with very little help!
