Acadia Day Eleven
We went into Bar Harbor early for breakfast in preparation for the morning's Fourth of July activities... surprisingly in all of our years up here we've never been here for a 4th of July. Before the big parade we checked out the sand bar that connects to Bar Island...and is only visible around times of low tide.
We waited to watch the tide come in enough to start flooding the sand bar...
...and about 28 seconds later...
Next we made our way over to the parade route...
