Owen's special awards

Owen was recently honored by our local State Senator, Tom McGarrigle. Senator McGarrigle chooses one student from each of his represented elementary schools once a year to receive recognition.   Owen was nominated by his teacher and Principal, and was chosen to get the honor from his school!

Owen also earned the Iron Cougar Award on his last day of school. His teacher gave the Iron Cougar to any student that had perfect attendance for the school year (there were four students from his class!)- he was also gifted a specially made t-shirt with 182 on the back (the number of school days!)
