Our family was long overdue to take an Autumn hiking trip... the kiddies had a day off of school and Daddy took a vacation day, so we traveled to the Delaware Water Gap area for a hike up Mt Tammany in Worthington State Forest, NJ. (The last time we hiked the Gap we hiked the PA side).
Sometimes the Appalachian Trail doesn't look so glamorous. (The AT is the connector trail that led to Tammany).

Our hiking loop brought us around to the Dunnfield Trail with numerous waterfalls along the way.
Celebrating the end of a terrific hike!
