Acadia Day 4

For our first hike of the day the kiddies enjoyed a challenging favorite, the Beehive Trail.  It was Eliza's first time hiking it out of a carrier and she did great (with quite a bit of support!) 

We then went around the back of the mountain to the mountain pond, the Bowl...where the kiddies got in the water for the first time ever (even though the sunshine had left us for the day)!

The boys scooted up Gorham Mountain for a "quick" hike while the girls finished the trail...

We then decided to go to the quiet side of the Island for a hike on the Valley Cove and Valley Peak trails... our family had never gotten to hike Valley Cove in it's entirety due to falcon nesting, but it's currently open and we enjoyed brand new trails before the rain showers moved in!
