Our last full morning in Maine, and the kiddies took time to sit outside early in the morning and read...
We then went hiking early since it was going to be such a hot day. We planned an ambitious hike: our favorite Penobscot Mountain Trail followed by climbing the nearby summit of Sargent Mountain as well (and then all the way back!)
The summit of Penobscot Mountain!
On our way to Sargent Mountain and enjoying the quiet pond before the steep climb.
The summit of Sargent Mountain!
Eliza must hike the finish of course!
The kiddies were amazing hikers... we took some very long and challenging hikes this year. The kiddies climbed the six tallest mountains on Mount Desert Island!
