Acadia: Day Nine

 We began our day hiking up to Beech Mountain and the Firetower. The boys took a challenging trail, the Beech Cliffs Trail, and the girls took the steep West Ridge Trail, and we met at the summit!

Reunited!

We finished our time at the trail's end with lunch by Long Pond.

We then continued our adventures at the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, (the only one on Mount Desert Island), which Daddy and the kiddies had never visited.

And we capped off our day with a walk on nearby Ship Harbor Trail, which we had also never been to!  It was fun to explore more of the Coast!
