Acadia: Day Seven

The kiddies braved the light rain and fog to walk and hike around some carriage roads and trails.

First we walked some carriage roads to get to the famous Cobblestone Bridge...

The Cobblestone Bridge did not disappoint!

We decided to hike the Jordan Stream Trail away from the bridge...

We went out again to hike the Day Mountain Trail.  (Obviously there were no views at the summit, but we had a great time anyway on our foggy hike!)

The kiddies checked out this plaque at the start of the trail, honoring Samuel de Champlain, discoverer of Mount Desert Island.
