The kiddies packed a whole lot of adventure into their day. We started out early on their favorite adventure spot, the Beehive Trail, to beat the crowds and allow the older two to take their time. (Eliza hiked only the very top portion...away from the exposed edges and narrow passes!)
The Bowl...(with our next summit, Champlain Mountain, in the distance).
We decided to extend our adventure with a new trail, The Champlain South Ridge Trail. It's the only way up to Champlain Mountain that our crew has never tried...it did not disappoint!
After the long 5-mile hike we took the kiddies down to Sand Beach to cool their feet off in the 55 degree water. The waves were really crashing too (much different than quiet Seal Harbor Beach). They loved it!

Wow...what an incredible undertaking with the kiddies to take on such a precarious trail (even though everything is very secure) .... if anyone can do it, you guys can!
Wow! Way to go, climbers, looks amazing!
