Acadia Day 2

The kiddies were out on the trails early in the morning...we planned a 7 mile adventure up Cadillac Mountain and back (a hike the kiddies had never taken, and Mama and Daddy last did on their honeymoon).  The Cadillac South Ridge Trail did not disappoint and the only complaints came from Eliza who wanted to hike more of it.

Charlotte can find a heart anywhere!

It's pretty anti-climatic when the 1528ft summit doesn't have a summit marker, so our summit marker is the Mather Memorial.

We had a picnic lunch at the summit and then began the descent. Eliza hiked the vast majority going down... she even fell and bloodied her knees three times, but did NOT want to get back into the Kelty carrier. She wanted to hike it herself.

Aaaannnd, back to Seal Harbor Beach.
